From Poverty to Silicon Valley to Kyoto
I love meeting people and learning about the world around me. Since childhood, I’ve always been curious about everything and never settled for the first answer I got. I always dug deeper until my soul found an answer that resonated, one that made sense.
I grew up in the heart of Manila, the Philippines with limited resources yet unlimited, overflowing supply of love, laughter, and adventures. When I experienced poverty in my youth, it motivated me to keep looking for other ways of living, understanding other beings and questioning everything. I didn’t accept that life was limited. I’ve always wondered if there was a different way to live this gift of life I’ve been given.
Forward to 2025, I’ve traveled various part of the world, worked in the coolest tech companies in Silicon Valley, studied with spiritual teachers in India, Sri Lanka, the US, and Hongkong, and worked with and was mentored by amazing FAANG and tech leaders. I trained and mentored dozens of individuals and businesses in different countries including the Philippines, India, the US, Romania, Japan and Ireland and spoken at numerous global events including a TEDx event in Japan. I’ve built 3 startups, rescued dozens of stray animals, and organized mobile feeding for homeless humans in my travels and home country.
I was also one of the first few people in Conversational AI, when “AI Trainer” was more popularly known only in Tesla.
With the help of a global village of mentors, teachers, family and friends, the trajectory of my life changed, and started to build a life of meaning, career that’s aligned with my soul’s purpose, loaded with fun adventures. I continue to design this life and learn as I evolve.
I now live in Kyoto, Japan with my family where I continue to learn expansive ways of embracing life’s magic through a new culture, building communities and startups, learning exponentially, living wildly and loving even more deeply.
